September 'Field Trips'

I’m a little late posting these since we’ve been so busy, but better late than never!

The weekend before last was a busy one. On Saturday, Isa and I went to the annual East Cooper Community Outreach event (it was our first time). Mr X stayed home with Dad while Isa and I went to the event. Isa had a lot of fun getting her arm painted, a Queen Elsa balloon, and doing a craft on the craft bus!

Getting her arm painted.

She got a cute butterfly that matched her dress perfectly.

She got a special request Queen Elsa balloon.

Making a paper plate basket on the craft bus.
The following day we all went to the South Carolina Aquarium with Memaw & Papi. It was a very enjoyable day for all of us. Isa loved all the animals there which included not just fish but birds, a Bald Eagle, reptiles, otters, and even Lemurs.

I think this Eel was bigger than Isa!

Checking out the size of a Bald Eagle nest!

The aquarium has a touch tank where Isa was able to touch starfish, sea urchins, and even a hermit crab (exactly like the huge hermit crab mom used to have back in her saltwater tank in Jax for those who remember ‘Hermie’).

The kids also enjoyed the aquarium's indoor play area.

As you can see we’re keeping plenty busy and the kids are doing great. Looking forward to upcoming events!
