Continuing on our journey through life, we all enjoyed a wonderful celebration of Isa’s birthday. A fun time was had by all, especially the birthday girl.
One of her projects focused on the letter P. We watched popcorn pop and subsequently glued popcorn to the uppercase letter P. She also glued pom poms onto the lowercase letter p.
At Babygarden at the library the kids made butterflies with their footprints.
One weekend we visited Magnolia Plantation. There we walked the beautiful gardens, visited the petting zoo and went on their From Slavery to Freedom tour. It was a very long and enjoyable day for all of us but the kids especially had a lot of fun.

Boy did Easter get here quick. The kids had a fun time at the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. This was Mr X’s first egg hunt and he did alright. Isa went to town on the egg hunt and was kind enough to share a lot of her eggs with her little brother. The kids also got to see the Easter bunny. Isa was brave enough to sit on his lap this year but Mr X was not too sure about that giant bunny.

The Easter bunny also paid a visit to the house and left behind some treats for the little ones.
Isa also decorated a foam Easter egg all by herself.
We also made a Holy Week in Handprints book thanks to the very talented Lacy at Catholic Icing. We had a lot of fun with this project and I can't wait to do it again next year with BOTH kids.
Last but not least a few candids. The duck feeding pictures are actually from last month but I had forgotten to include them in my last post. Enjoy!
