Hello 2015

...And goodbye 2014!

With the start of the new year I’ve been reflecting on the year past and boy was it a fun and busy one. Some of the highlights from 2014 include Isa starting preschool at home in February, Mr X’s Baptism in March, we attended our very first Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic homeschooling conferenece in April, moved into our new house in May (and lots of subsequent projects followed), Dakota came home in June, and Mr X turned one and experienced a whole bunch of firsts.

2014 was a very good year for us, but also came with its challenges. Some of the most memorable challenges of the year included the rodent that took up residence in one of our vehicles’ engines, the ‘you won’t be able to close on your house tomorrow as planned’ fiasco, oh and of course moving into the new house with a baby and toddler. We are so thankful for our many blessings and also the strength to overcome the obstacles we have encountered.

A small side note, the kids had a very nice Christmas at home. Boy was Santa good to them!

Poor Isa spent the first week of the new year as sick as she could be. But she’s feeling great now and ready to get back to preschool after a long holiday break. Our calendars are filling up quickly and we look forward to another great year and all the joys and challenges that it will bring!

As usual, here are a few photos from the past few weeks.

 That's all for now folks!
