After a fun filled, week long vacation in Florida visiting family, Disney & the zoo, we picked up preschool again lightly this week. Mom was very busy taking care of things for the new house, re-packing, taking care of the yard, and also keeping up with the day to day chores. So we needed to keep things light this week as far as school.
Our focus this week was on the letter E, the triangle shape, and the color green. All of our activities this week were modified Learn and Grow activities. This was actually perfect timing for the letter E since Easter is fast approaching!
First up, we enjoyed eating some triangle shaped food!

Side note, mom hadn’t had a regular nacho-flavored Dorito since she was a kid herself, so that was a real fun blast from the past for her! I think she enjoyed them far more than Isa!
Next up, Isa colored a green triangle.

Our next project involved making an eggshell letter E.
First we needed eggs! Isa knew what they were but it was her first time handling them. Don’t worry, they were already hard-boiled! Thank goodness because the first thing she did was smash them together!

But she enjoyed gluing the crushed egg shell onto her green letter E.

Isa made quite the mess while completing her eggshell E. But she had fun doing it, so it was completely worth it. And that concludes this week’s activities!
Coming soon to a blog near you...Isa's Easter Egg Adventure!
