Introduction

A little about me...

My name is Valerie and I am a Catholic mother of two wonderful young children currently aged 22 months and 2 months.  I am blessed with a wonderful, loving husband who works hard to provide for his family and enables me to stay at home to raise and homeschool our little ones.

Every day is both an adventure and a challenge, but also a joy as well.  We share our lives with two very different but special dogs, an 8 year old Siberian husky and a 1 year old Chihuahua.  They keep the kids entertained and also keep us healthy via dog walks.

As of late, our lives have been hectic as we wait for our new home to be built.  God has blessed us in every way possible with the sale of our previous house and everything leading up to our new home  currently under construction.  Assuming all continues to go smoothly, we'll be moving into our new home come summer.

While we wait for our new home to finish up I have been keeping myself busy with deciding on what toddler homeschool program/curriculum to use.  After much research, back and forth, indecision, and prayer I ended up deciding to use 3 different preschool curricula over the next few years until my kids reach Pre-K.  Ultimately I decided to use Heart of Dakota's Little Hands to Heaven; Little Saints: A Catholic Preschool Program with Classical Disciplines; and Learn & Grow: Hands On Lessons for Active Preschoolers.  With my very active older daughter quickly approaching her second birthday and extremely eager to learn, I am excited to begin using bits and pieces of each program with her.  And I look forward to sharing our progress along the way.

Until next time, God Bless!
