Picture Update!

It's been over a month since my last update and a lot has happened in that time. So for my sake, and yours, I'm going to make this post primarily a photo update and let the photos do most of the talking.
I usually end with candids, but this time I'm going to start with them.

The kids' new train track set (we also subsequently got a train table for it too).

Playing with friends!

Expert climbers! Isa (top left), Mr X (top right), friend Elana (middle).

The kids have been enjoying preschool storytime at the library each week. Here are some pictures of them working on the various weekly crafts there.

Making a pirate hook and parrot.

Decorating their own fish.

Next, we've been focusing our school work on capital and lowercase letter recognition, letter sounds, vowels and letter tracing.

Lower case letter hunting.

Building the alphabet train puzzle.

Letter tracing and freehand writing.

Capital & lowercase letter tracing.
Next up are some photos from a fun, family event held by Dad's work.

Isa requested a pony be painted on her face.

Mr X picked a dinosaur temporary tattoo.

There was even a photo booth at the event.
The following photos are from our trip to the Children's Museum in downtown Charleston. The kids had so much and did not want to leave!

Next up are a couple pictures taken at dance class.

Following are some photos from 3 different trips/events. The first couple pictures were taken during our trip to Brookgreen Gardens located in Murrells Inlet. Next are a few photos taken at the Children's Day Fest in Mt Pleasant. And last are a few photos taken at the Center for Birds of Prey in Awendaw.

Taken at Brookgreen Gardens.

This spooky owl really scared Isa at the Center for Birds of Prey.
Speaking of spooky, that brings me to my conclusion as we wrap things up with our Halloween week events and activities.

The kids got to sit in a fire truck at the event.

Showing off the foam pumpkin she decorated.

At home the kids painted wooden pumpkins and ghosts.

Halloween week the kids wore costumes over their leotards at dance class.
